This is the result of our recent endeavour in designing a better grind cup to improve your coffee-workflow experience!

The VERSA Magnetic Transfer Cup is designed to be versatile and multi-functional. You can use it either as a receptacle to hold your ground coffee, to transfer coffee grind into your portafilter basket (e.g. 58mm filter baskets), or to dispense coffee grind directly into your brew devices. Designed to fit our Lagom P64 and Lagom P100 portafilter fork system for hands-free operation.

How it works?

On the surface, it looks just like a regular grind cup. But when you twist the upper rim - lo and behold, it will separate into two pieces, allowing the grind to be dispensed evenly from under the base. With the magnetically secured two-piece system, it can function as a pouring cup too (pouring from the top), as well as magnetically attach to and sit on a 58mm filter basket - double (or triple if you’re counting!)-dutying as a dosing funnel ring, hence the name VERSA!

As a bonus to the magnetic-system, it comes with a satisfactory click when the two pieces are snapped in place (those of you who have used our REMI grinder or our LAGOM Mini will know exactly what we meant!).

A truly VERSA tile cup that functions as a:

• Pouring cup (from the top)

• Grind receptacle - holding vessel for cupping etc.

• Grind dispenser (from the bottom)

• Magnetic-dosing funnel for 58mm filter baskets

• Regular (non-magnetic) grind-dispense cup for non-58mm filter baskets (e.g. 49mm basket for La Pavoni etc.)

Note: The VERSA Magnetic Transfer Cup will come default with all Lagom P64 and P100 for all grinders shipping in November 2022 onwards, until July 2023.
