Can I use the LAGOM mini 2 for espresso and filter?
Yes, the LAGOM mini 2, like the original LAGOM mini, can be used for both espresso and filter coffee. However, it is strictly intended for non-commercial use, following the recommended duty cycle.
If your primary use is for very light roast espresso, we recommend considering the LAGOM casa instead.
Duty cycle: <90s (1.5 min) grind time per cycle, with a minimum rest time of 90s (1.5 min) in between cycles, for no more than 4 shots within a 10 minute period. Rest for at least 30 minutes once total cumulated grinding time has exceeded 6 minutes.
Are the burrs in LAGOM mini 2 compatible with LAGOM mini (original)?
The Mizen 48MS burrs used in LAGOM mini 2 is NOT cross-compatible with LAGOM mini (original) due to a different burr mount system.
What is the voltage requirement of the LAGOM mini 2?
The Lagom mini 2 has been designed to run from a USB-C type power adapter, so it can accept a universal 100-240V. It can be used anywhere in the world as long as you have access to an electric outlet.
What are the advantages of using a USB-C power port?
Universal Compatibility: USB-C is fast becoming a universal charging standard, allowing users to rely on universal power supplies rather than custom-made adapters.
Convenience: This means you can use a power adapter you already own or source a third-party charger that meets the specifications.
Travel-Friendly: With USB-C, you can now travel with a single power supply/adapter (e.g., for your phone, laptop, or power bank etc) without needing yet another separate power supply for the LAGOM Mini 2.
Versatility: You can also use the power adapter for your LAGOM mini 2 to charge your electronic devices (phone/laptop/camera/power bank etc).
What is a USB-C Power Adapter/Charger?
A USB-C power adapter, often referred to as a charger, is a device used to deliver power via a USB-C connection. Examples include chargers commonly used for smartphones, tablets, or laptops.
Note that the Mini 2 does not contain a built-in battery; the power adapter is solely used to supply the energy required for grinding coffee beans.
What USB-C power adapter specifications do I need to power the LAGOM mini 2?
Most USB-C power adapter/chargers that meet the following specification will be compatible:
PD3.0-compliant (or newer)
Capable of delivering 20V/5A or up to 100W output
Can I use the LAGOM Mini 2 with a power bank if neccesary?
Yes, the LAGOM Mini 2 can be used with a power bank, provided it meets the specifications mentioned above. However, it is essential to use a high-quality power bank to ensure safe and reliable operation. Please note that we cannot guarantee against damage caused by subpar or incompatible power supplies.
Will the LAGOM mini 2 work with USB-C power adapters that are other than PD3.0 or have less than 100W output?
No, it is not recommended to use less powerful USB-C adapters or adapters with the other standards. Being on the PD3.0 standard is critical as it allows the grinder to communicate with the power supply to ensure correct, sufficient and safe power delivery to ensure a safe and long-lasting operation of the grinder.

As this is a pre-order, delay in production is possible, and is sometimes due to completely unforeseen reasons. But we will do our best to avoid that and keep everyone updated throughout the process.
Shipping date of your order will be based on the dispatch date at the time of order. Should there be any change in dispatch date due to unexpected factors, we will do our best to keep you updated and inform you via email.

Orders can be cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to dispatch without any cancellation fee, after which a fee of 3% will be applicable to cover non-refundable fees charged by our payment processor.
However, please note that in reality there is always a 3% processing fee charged by our payment processor, even if the order is cancelled immediately. But, the cost will be absorbed by us in this case. Therefore, if you wish to modify your order, we suggest reaching out to us first rather than cancelling and placing a new one.

All our grinders come with a standard 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
While we will do our very best to ensure the cosmetic perfection of each delivered units, occasional micro-scratches or cosmetic flaw (that is not visible from 10cm away) may be inevitably due to handling and final QC check. Therefore we cannot guarantee the cosmetic perfection but we can review it on a case-by-case basis.
